Under ‘Users’ tab, there are three ways to compose broadcast or adhoc messages directly to customers via in-app, email, SMS or browser / mobile push channels.
- After ‘Search & Filter’ query, click on ‘Compose Message’
- After selecting a segment, click on ‘Compose’ and choose to send the message to either all customers or only those who have entered or exited the said segment.
- After searching for a particular customer, you can send an in-app or email message to a single customer by clicking on the ‘speech bubble’ icon next to the User ID. Alternatively, you can also click on their ‘User ID’ which will take you to the customer’s profile. Now, you can click on ‘Compose Message’ to send an email or in-app message.
[Note: This is NOT a recommended way to communicate regularly with your customers and should be used for ad-hoc reasons such as updates on specific customer issues.
