Segmenting Users in ZetaHub
ZetaHub’s segmentation option allows you to segment across all of your subscribers and to make static or dynamic lists. It’s a great way to create highly targeted customer segments, so you can deliver the most relevant marketing messages.
Access the Audience section from the left menu.
Next, use the Filter option to search for your desired customer segment. You can segment based on contact properties, which are fields on the user profile (like Email, Phone number, City etc) that you passed to ZetaHub either via a CSV file upload or via the API.
You can also segment based on past interactions with email campaigns or Activities or Behaviours. ZetaHub’s segmentation feature allows you to use AND/OR logic and relative dates.
Here are a few example searches:
Subscribers who have signed up with in last 30 days
Click on the Filter button and select ‘Signed up at’ as the User property. Then select ‘Within last’ from the drop down and specify 30 Days as the criteria.
Click on ‘Add Filter’ and select ‘Apply’. Now the system will list down all the users who have signed up within the last 30 days. Select either list or segment as per your need. (lists are static whereas Segments are dynamic) and save it.
Subscribers who were sent the ‘ZetaHub Welcome Series’ email campaign and opened it, in a particular time frame.
Click on Filters and select the Messages radio button. Define a filter as shown below:
Click on Add another criteria/filter and the below condition to check if the campaign is opened in the same time frame:
Finally, click on Apply and save it as a List or a Segment.
Subscribers who have not made a purchase of order value greater than 50 USD in the past 30 days
In the above example, we have filtered users based on the purchased Activity.0
Subscribers who did cart_updated(Activity) with in last 30 days and birthday date(property value) before Nov 27th 2016
Subscribers who have exhibited a particular behaviour
Click on Filters > Select Activities and search for nudgespot::exhibited_behaviour. Then scope by time if you are looking for the behaviour execution in any particular time frame and in properties, provide the behaviour name.
If the behaviour name is not provided in the filter, ZetaHub would show the subscribers who have exhibited all the behaviours available.
